Angus warning of “Third Party Operators” for Passports

Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus is issuing a caution to people wanting to get or renew passports. He says that his office has been getting calls from some saying they’re paying $200 to use a third-party service, to fill out applications for passport renewal. Angus says that his office is there to help, for free.

Angus says that the only way to apply for a passport is to go a Passport Canada office, Service Canada, MP’s office, or mail it yourself.
