Curling club closing their doors

After 60 decades, Elliot Lake’s Deer Trail Curling Club on Hillside South is closing its doors. This week Deer Trail Co-Director Doug MacLeod reluctantly announced the permanent closure of the club, for a variety of reasons. Among them, an engineering report highlighted some $1.29 Million dollars worth of needed repairs for the ageing building.
