Extended break coming for LU students in the new-year

Laurentian University will be giving students an extending its winter break, by one week. Students will return to class Jan. 11 instead of Jan. 4. The motion was approved by Laurentian’s Senate. This comes as the Ontario government has decided against an extended winter break for elementary and secondary students.
