Fire growing, but under control – MNRF

A forest fire near Timmins is growing but is now under control. That’s the report from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry regarding the blaze roughly 25 kilometers northwest of Kamiskotia Lake. This is one of 17 active forest fires in the northern Ontario region including areas around Sudbury, North Bay and Parry Sound.
