Greater Sudbury Volunteer Firefighters grow by 64

The city of Greater Sudbury’s number of Volunteer Firefighters has grown. 64 new members were added to the city’s complement in one of the largest recruitments in recent history. While this means a boost from 209 in 2020 to 273, half of the municipality’s 18 stations still do not have the minimum required number of firefighters.
