Sheehan Reelected in Sault Ste Marie

Sault Ste. Marie Liberal incumbent Terry Sheehan is returning to Ottawa. After two of waiting, the mail-in ballots pushed Sheehan’s past conservative competitor Sonny Spina by 247 votes different.

 

Sudbury to contribute 100k in services to curling championship

The City of Greater Sudbury will hope to contribute $100,000 in-kind services toward three Curling Canada events the city is hosting. They go in March of next year. The city’s finance and administration committee made the unanimous decision during Tuesday night’s meeting. It now awaits ratification from city council.
