Long-term care homes getting cash to up one-on-one care

Five long-term care homes in Nipissing will share just over 2.2 million dollars ($2,248,000) from the Province. It’s all for the increase in staffing levels as part of the province’s effort to ensure residents receive – on average – four hours of direct care per day by 2024-25. Legislation is pending that will ensure the four hours of care becomes law.
