Man totals car, arrested after fleeing the scene

Police say a 26-year-old man from Powassan has been charged with impaired driving following a collision that “totalled” a vehicle. It was at around 1 a.m. Friday when the single motor-vehicle happened on Main Street in Powassan. The driver left the scene but was later located with minor injuries. There was no other significant damage.
