Mark 1:17 “Come follow me”

Mark 1:17 says this “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”

Jesus is calling Peter and Andrew to follow him. They’re fishermen and the first of the 12 disciples. But when Jesus calls them, it is to the unknown. They would have had no idea what “fish for people” meant, but regardless, their reaction is immediate. They walk away from fishing with no intention of returning. They leave their business apparently to anyone who wants it, free of charge, and they follow Jesus, no turning back. When we hear the voice of Jesus
