East Algoma OPP has put out a notice to those on bicycles… after some have been spotted operating a bicycle being powered with a combustion engine. Police say some are using an engine similar to a chainsaw motor to the frame. And while the device may spin, to hook it up is both illegal and dangerous.

Several charges have been laid as a part of the city police back-to-school safety initiative.
