North Bay Police services board hoping for body cameras in 2021

The North Bay Police Services Board have approved their 2021 budget. The $21.2 million in 2021, represents a 3.22 per cent increase from 2020. This includes $100,000 in savings requested by city hall. The 2021 budget will focus on technology, including gear that will allow officers to access information remotely rather than having to radio a dispatcher. The hope is to also have body cameras.
