Ontario sets two new records for COVID-19 cases

Public Health Ontario says the COVID-19 pandemic hit not one, but two grim markers today. A new record number of daily cases and an all-time high number of active cases. The province reported 1,589 new cases today, and now more than 13,000 active, lab-confirmed cases. There were also 1,484 new recoveries.

One of those new cases is in Greater Sudbury. The individual is self-isolating. The probable exposure of the new case is classified as information pending or missing.
