The Province of Ontario will work with School Boards over the Summer to determine the needs of each board and how to best serve each community. They will then develop a plan accordingly. Learning options for each plan may include:
– Regular learning with public health protocols in place.
– At home learning or a mix of both.
– Capped class sizes at 15 with students attending alternative days or weeks.
Ontario is increasing its education spending ahead of the next school year, as school boards grapple with new challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
