North Bay Regional Health Centre employees eligible for the Ontario government’s pandemic pay are still waiting. That said, in a statement provided this week, the president and CEO Paul Heinrich said eligible employees can expect to receive details this week about the date and process for payment.
The province announced in April that certain frontline workers fighting COVID-19 would receive $4 an hour on top of their hourly wages, as well as an additional lump sum of $250 for those who work at least 100 hours in a designated four-week period.
