Police lay charges in unrelated weapons incidents

Police laid a number of weapons charges over the weened. Among the unrelated incidents, a 32-year-old woman from Sault Ste Marie was seen attending a residence in the 500 block of Goulais Avenue in the Soo, damaging the door with an edged weapon.

Elsewhere, a 28-year-old man was arrested after reports he was allegedly swinging an object said to be a weapon in the area of Notre Dame Avenue in Greater Sudbury. The man was quickly arrested without incident, there were no injuries.
