Sault Ste Marie looking for input on 2021 budget

Sault Ste Mare City council has approved a lengthy list of waste management fines. Some fines are already in existence and will be going up. They include $500 for being in the landfill after posted hours and $500 for scavenging or remove an article from the landfill.

Meanwhile, the city is looking for feedback when it comes to the 2021 municipal budget. Everything from how a street is plowed in the winter to garbage and recyclables riding a city bus in on the list. Suggestions and comments can be submitted virtually by visiting www.saultstemarie.ca/budget2021.
