Sault Ste Marie man charged with auto theft

A Sault Ste Marie man accused of stealing a vehicle from the 1500 block of Wellington Street East will have his day in court. He was seen walking through yards on Parkland Crescent at about 7:15 a.m. last Monday. Among other items in his possession was a vehicle key. The vehicle was located in close proximity to the male. The 28-year-old was remanded into custody. His court date is Friday.
