Six new fires in the North East

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is reporting six new forest fires in the region as of late afternoon yesterday.  They are located in the Wawa, Kirkland Lake, Sudbury and North Bay areas. There is a total of 30 active fires burning across the Northeast Region and the fire hazard in the district remains moderate to high.
