Theft, fraud under investigation

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are currently investigating the theft of several raffle tickets that were sold for a local charity. What’s more is that Police now say that a number of people have now received a text message from a text now subscriber indicating they have won and should send their credit card information via text or email in order to have money deposited on the credit card. Police say it is a scam, and not pass on personal information.
