Town of Mattawa going through communication upgrades

The town of Mattawa is addressing what they’re calling “ongoing issues” regarding the communications system used by the fire department and public works. Among other issues, Mattawa’s fire department and the municipal public works department share the same frequency, and an upgrade will allow each to communicate on their own bandwidth.
