Two officers, suspect wounded in gunfire incident on Manitoulin

Two police officers and one suspect have been injured an alleged incident involving firearms on Manitoulin Island. It happened in Gore Bay near Tenth Line. One officer had been injured and then a second police officer was allegedly shot while attempting to retrieve the first injured officer. The wounded suspect has been apprehended. The extent of injuries is unknown at the time. However, EMS and ORNGE air ambulance have transported all injured parties to the hospital for treatment.
