Uniformed group at Police strike a new contract

An over 80-year-old bridge is being replaced in North Bay. The Duchesnay Creek on Main Street W. will be replaced with a modern, wooden timber bridge starting this year. The $12-million project is fully funded by the provincial government, which owns the 82-year-old structure. The uniformed group at Timmins police have a new contract. The City of Timmins director of corporate services says it was developed after four days of negotiations earlier in the year.
