Funding comes in for Area Hospitals

The province says they will provide Sudbury Hospitals with an additional $5.8 million in operating funding for the coming year. That was the big announcement from Sudbury MPP and Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault today in the Nickle City. The funding is an approximate two-per-cent increase in HSN’s budget. St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, will receive an additional $210,000.
