Fires continue to burn north of Cochrane

The District of Cochrane is dealing with a pair of forest fires. The Ministry of Natural Resources says the fires began in the far north of the district, and have remained away from the surrounding communities. They say that the fires are currently being monitored to keep surrounding communities safe.
