North Bay Fire Department responded to an aircraft in distress early this afternoon at Jack Garland Airport. It was all lights and sirens to the North Bay Airport. Reports say smoke was coming from one of the cockpits of a regional jet was landing in North Bay. Three stations responded to the scene.

There were only three people on board at the time of the incident.
