Mines investing 700 million in northern mining projects

Vale and Glencore in Greater Sudbury both say they’re digging deep when it comes to new mining in the North. Both companies say they’re committing roughly $700 million to develop new mines attempting reach ore located more than two kilometers below the surface.  Vale is going ahead with its Copper Cliff Deep project, while Glencore is working on a new project near Craig Mine.
