BIA budget approved, with some push back

The Sudbury Business Improvement Area or the BIA’s annual budget has been approved, with but not without some pushback from some on city council. The Budget worth about $530,000 includes $20,000 pegged for their appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal. The BIA is named as one of the appellants on an appeal opposing the location of the events centre and the establishment of the Gateway casino at the Kingsway Entertainment District.
