5 fires active in the North East

A number of fires continue to burn in the North east today. Out of the 5 active in the region, three have been discovered in the Sudbury region. One located north of Capreol, and under control at 0.2 of a hectare, one located on an Island on Whitson Lake, is not yet under control at 1 hectare, while one has been spotted on Island on Joe Lake, held at 0.4 of a hectare. The forest fire hazard ranges mostly from high to extreme.
