Forests getting a spray this week along the North Shore

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says that selected stands of forest along the North Shore will be sprayed with an herbicide, beginning this week, all in attempts to control competing vegetation. A ministry spokesperson told reporters this week that Herbicides are used only when necessary and used to renew the forest.
