Union March planned for Labour Day

While some may be planning a relaxing extra day off this weekend, the North Bay and District Labour Council is preparing for a busy Labour Day Monday by hosting its annual picnic and flag march. The theme this year is “A Plan for Everyone and Decent Work”. The group says that they’re promoting a nationwide prescription drug coverage, insisting that there are still 3.5 million Canadians can’t afford to fill their prescription.
