Union 13 – More cuts coming to HSN

More cuts are coming to Health Sciences North in Greater Sudbury, when it comes to nurses. At least that’s according to the Ontario Nurses’ Association Local 13 this week. They say that according to an HSN report, 26 full-time positions among the three hospital unions would be cut as administration works to solve an $11.1-million deficit. As number-crunching continues to lead to job-cutting process has continued, roughly 60 full-time nursing spots are among 70 positions that have been trimmed.
