Lung health is looking to breath a little better in the North. This is thanks to a new pilot program. Specifically, at HSN where the hospital is for participants for a lung cancer early detection pilot program. Dr. Amanda Hey, the regional primary care lead for the Northeast Cancer Centre spoke to us and says its important to have a program like this, especially in the North.
HSN was one of three hospitals in Ontario to take part, along with Lakeridge Health in Oshawa and the Ottawa Hospital.
