Budget deliberations will set tax levy increase

While a tax levy increase for the city of North Bay has not yet been set in this year’s budget, Sudbury is looking at 3.5%. That being said, public opinion continues to be sought as to where money should be going. The city looks after roughly 24-hours of service. The purposed budget is over ½ billion dollars. Budget deliberations begin February 19th.
