Apartment fire in Sault Ste. Marie turns deadly

Crews remain on scene, following a fire in Sault Ste. Marie that has now turned deadly.  It was just before 11:30 p.m., yesterday when crews were called to the blaze at 89 Hudson Street. As a result of the fire, a 60-year-old man was taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries. The cause of his death and the source of the fire have not yet been determined. The areas does remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.  This is the second fire in less than two weeks and less than a kilometer away from the blaze across from GFL memorial guardians.
