Job numbers in Sudbury increase, as does unemployment

Numbers for the first month of 2019 continue to roll in, and those include Job numbers for Greater Sudbury. A new report says that 900 jobs were added to the monthly labour force, according to stats Canada. While that may sound good, a surge of 1,300 more people looking for work in the city pushed the jobless rate to 6.7 per cent, up from 6.3 per cent in December.
