“Emergency Scams” hitting the North Bay area

North Bay Police are reporting to incidents involving an attempted scam in the area. In this case, it’s involving what Constable John Schultz says, are commonly referred to as “Emergency Scams”

In both cases, the potential victim recognized the scam and reported the matter to police. No money was transferred.
