Be careful around waterways – Conservation Sudbury

A water safety statement in place and will be so until next Wednesday. Conservation Sudbury is warning people to take care around bodies of water in light of the heavy rain the area has received. The agency issued a water safety statement Thursday.
Details: A water safety statement means Conservation Sudbury expects high water flows, unsafe banks, melting ice or other factors that could be dangerous for recreational users such as anglers, canoeists, hikers, children, pets, etc. Flooding, however, is not expected.
