Advanced green lights being disabled

Sault Ste. Marie has made a change notable to some drivers… specifically, to disable advanced green lights from 9 pm until 6 am. The hope is that it will lower unnecessary idling when there’s only one vehicle at an intersection.
Details: In addition, any new stop signs put up during construction where lights are removed are to have flashing lights above them for a minimum of one year.
