LU will start in 2019-2020 with a balanced budget

The Laurentian University Board of Governors says that pulling out of the 2018-2019 school year they are looking at a balanced budget when fall comes around. A $161m budget for the coming year was given approval just before the weekend.
This represents a growth of 0.2% over last year’s budget and eliminates the $4.4M deficit while investing in priorities outlined in our 2018-23 strategic plan.
