Algoma school budget in place for upcoming year

Algoma District School Board trustees say numbers are now in place for the 2019-2020 school year. This is after a budget of $154.7 was approved, at the final regular board meeting of the school year. In addition to funding going toward a shortfall in special education funding, Trustees approved withdrawing over $1.2 million from an accumulated surplus along with reallocation, to balance the 2019-2020 budget.
