Reminder – Job action coming to Rainbow District School Board

The rainbow district school board is reminding parents and students of more strike action. To that end, the rotating strikes will affect the Rainbow District School Board tomorrow, Feb. 4. The union is also holding a provincewide strike Thursday, Feb. 6. The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association has also announced its members are holding a provincewide, one-day strike… tomorrow.
They’re not alone… as report cards are once again seeing the effects of job action Province-wide. This time, the Timmins’ public-school board is advising parents that elementary students won’t be receiving report cards during the month of February. Teachers are submitting the marks for the courses that they’re teaching, but reports will not be sent home. Information may be obtained by contacting the school.
