Today marks the 20th anniversary of the “Let’s Remember Adam campaign”…. And once again drivers are reminded to stop for the school bus. It was on February 11th, 2000 when Ranger was struck by a passing truck and trailer, the driver of which failed to stop for the flashing lights and stop arm of the boy’s school bus. OPP say that drivers still pass buses daily all across Northern Ontario… and hefty fines and demerit points come with failing to stop for a stopped bus.
Adam’s older brother Pierre Ranger, who told us two decades later, their message is the same.
Adam Rander would be 25 years old.
