Fire department doing door-to-door inspections

If the fire department comes knocking at the door starting next week… don’t be alarmed. That’s according to the city of Timmins. Fire personnel are starting its home inspection program Monday, July 13. They’re be asking residents to make sure their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms work, and that they have a fire evacuation plan.
