North Bay looking to close the gap on Transit Shortfall

North Bay city council is looking at newly announced funding for municipalities for an approx. $1-million shortfall in city transit. The province this week announced it would provide, in partnership with the federal government, up to $4 billion in one-time funding for the province’s 444 municipalities to help them maintain services such as public transit over the next six to eight months.
