North Bay says $1.7 million deficit wont result in higher taxes

The City of North Bay says a $1.7 million deficit by the end of the year due to COVID-19, will not affect taxes. Deputy Mayor Tanya Vrebosh issued a statement this week that says “Even with a projected deficit, the City will end the year with a balanced budget without any new increases to municipal taxes”
