Police investigate an accident involving two people

Two people have been brought to the hospital after a crash in downtown Timmins. It happened at the intersection of Algonquin Boulevard and Pine Street South yesterday afternoon. According to police, a pickup truck struck two, one of whom was a seven-year-old. They are being treated at Timmins and District Hospital. Their injuries are serious, but not life-threatening. Police are looking for witnesses to the crash.
