148 new cases of cases of COVID-19 in Ontario for Friday, Sept 4

The Province of Ontario is seeing another daily increase when it comes to COVID. Provincial health officials logged 148 new patients. 72 are in Peel Region, 41 are in Toronto and 13 are in Ottawa.
More is being learned about the positive case of COVID-19 in the Algoma Public Health unit area.  It pertains to an F.J. Davey Home worker has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee was tested last Monday. They are self-isolating. How the individual caught novel coronavirus is not known.
There was one new case is in the Porcupine Health Unit catchment area. The Timmins resident, in his 20s, who was tested on Monday, remains asymptomatic and he is in self-isolation at home. Health unit officials have attributed his exposure to the disease to “international travel.”
