Road renamed in honour of former MP

North Bay council has voted to rename Airport Way the honour of a former member of Parliament Bob Wood. Council unanimously voted in favour of a motion this week, to rename the road leading to North Bay Jack Garland Airport. Wood, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2018 and participated in a flag-raising ceremony at city hall last year for the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
