3 new cases, all in the Nipissing District of COVID-19 were announced from the weekend. All cases are age group 19 and younger, 1 was community spread and 2 were Close contact of a confirmed case.
Meanwhile, a member of the crew hired to clean up Walmart following a fire Nov. 20 tested positive for COVID-19. U3S Staffing, the London, Ont. was the company hired for the Walmart restoration. The store reopened Saturday. The health unit has determined individuals who worked at the Walmart in North Bay from Dec. 1 to Dec. 8 may have had a low-risk exposure to COVID-19 and should self-monitor.
