Amberwood Suites resident passes away from COVID-19.

A resident of the Amberwood Suites retirement home in Sudbury has died of COVID-19. The announcement was made by Public Health Sudbury & Districts today. A total of 35 people – 32 residents, three staff — at the home have tested positive for COVID, where the health unit declared an outbreak Jan. 5.
Meanwhile, there are two new COVID-19 cases today in the Greater Sudbury area, 2 in Nipissing.
